What is it?
Project Hunger 757 is our community initiative. After researching and learning some very shocking statistics, we knew we had to do something. Hunger affects so many people and a large percentage of those people are working full time and have families. A percentage of those hungry are even active and retired military. This Sunkissed Life sponsors this initiative to help the Hampton Roads community and get as many people involved as possible. It's a simple project with a big impact. All the money raised goes to making healthy meals that are personally distributed across the 7 cities to anyone in need. It is an easy and direct way to reach the ones who need it most. For those who can not physically help, there is options to donate at the top of this page. We believe $50 can help just as much as $0.50 and whatever you can give is going to put us that much closer to helping the members of our community. This is an initiative that anyone of any age can contribute to. We believe what better way to serve than to be hands on. We are looking to get as many people involved as possible and truly work towards ending hunger in this community.

-admin team: people with great organization skills who would help coordinate actual delivery days and making sure everyone knows what to do and where to be. This team also would be responsible for overseeing fundraising events, community events, outreach, and information events. The admin team oversees everything and all the other positions fall under this team.
-social media marketing: getting the word out, gaining volunteers, daily updates, and statistics to each of the social media outlets we use. (instagram, twitter, facebook, tumblr, etc.)
-drivers: to help take the food around or supplies to shelters, or moving materials to and from events
-researchers/points of contact: there are different organizations and companies throughout Hampton Roads. You would be paired up with one specific place and be Project Hungers direct point of contact for that location, as well as helping find sponsors and other orgs to work with.
-shoppers: you would physically help purchase food and put together distribution meals and help organize donated non-perishables
-collectors: donations would be dropped off at your home, essential to have collectors all over the 7 cities so that we can work on Hampton Roads as a whole. People who want to just drop off food and non-perishables you would serve as a “pantry location”
-events: you would be on the planning committee for fundraising events to help plan and execute great ways to raise money for the organization
-freelance volunteers: you would just be a floating volunteer to fill in wherever most needed.
