WELL IT'S FINALLY HERE! I have been waiting 365 days to scream HAPPY J DAY ! For those who don't know me personally, I refer to my birthday as JDAY. Now before you roll your eyes, I know it's silly to be so excited about a birthday to name it. People tell me all the time that it's just a day and not that big of a deal. Every year I think about it, and I agree. It's just another day. It isn't something elaborately special, especially when it isn't those highlighted years; 16, 21, 30, 50, etc. However, I personally have always chosen to view my birthday as a big deal simply because it's another year accomplished. Some people view January 1st as the day for a fresh start. They use the New Years as a day to set goals, refresh themselves, and move on. I have never been big on celebrating New Years. I look at my birthday as my new year. My birthday is the day my first year of life began so I view it as my restart button if needed. I recall all of the highs and lows of the previous 365 days and use it as motivation to continue
